Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address and, if you provide it, phone number. If you sign in with Google, Apple or Facebook we receive the identifier and the name and email that provider shares.
• Profile and health-related details you enter: age, sex, height, weight, activity level and your goal, used to calculate calorie and protein targets.
• Activity you create: weight and water entries, meal plans, saved and liked recipes, cooking sessions and timers, and notification preferences.
• Technical data: basic server logs such as IP address, device type and app version, used to keep the service secure and working.

We do not collect precise location, contacts, photos or advertising identifiers.

How we use it

• To create your account and sign you in.
• To calculate your targets, build your plan, and sync your data between the app and the website.
• To send emails you request or need, such as verification codes.
• To show reminders. Meal and cooking reminders are scheduled locally on your device; they are not push notifications from our servers.
• To maintain security and fix problems.

We do not sell your data, do not show ads, and do not track you across other companies’ apps or websites.

Sharing

We share data only with service providers that help us run BeFIT (for example hosting and email delivery) and only as needed to provide the service, or when required by law. Our servers are located in the European Union.

Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and the data linked to it at any time by emailing support@befit.am from your registered address; we will complete the request within 30 days.

Your rights

You can access, correct or export your data and withdraw consent by contacting us. You can edit most details directly in the Profile screen.

Security

Data is sent over HTTPS and passwords are stored only as salted hashes. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information.

Children

BeFIT is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.

BeFIT provides general nutrition information and is not medical advice. Consult a qualified professional before changing your diet, especially if you have a medical condition.
